Steve David has been cutting and styling hair for 25 years with 20 years of that working as a freelance editorial & celebrity hairstylist represented by top agencies in the fashion and entertainment industry.                                            
Starting off honing his skills working behind the chair in high-end salons. It wasn't long before Steve's ability proved way too much for the salon world and quickly found himself being asked to style hair on photo shoots     
 
Steve has done it all in the industry from runway, editorial, ad campaigns, commercials, videos, celebrities, you name it..Steve's work has appeared in the international publications of Harper's Bazaar,  Nylon,  British Glamour,  Spanish Cosmopolitan,  Financial Times,  Angeleno,  Riviera,  Shape, Red Magazine, Teen Vogue, Ladies Home Journal, CBS Watch Magazine, just to name a few...His Celebrity clients include- Janelle Monae, Bella Thorne, Paz De La Huerta, Chloe Moretz, Zoey Deutch, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Beth Behers, Evan Rachel Wood, Paris Hilton, Michelle Rodriguez & was personal hairstylist to actor Owain Yeoman (The Mentalist , Troy , American Sniper). He has worked on ad campaigns and commercials for AG Jeans, Fernet Branca, and  GNC  (live campaign) ....always one to push the boundaries as an artist,  

Steve has also transcended the traditional work of a hairstylist with his amazing headpiece work he has been designing for the last 15 yrs and is known worldwide for. His headpiece work has been seen in editorials, runway shows, music videos, and sold to personal clients, with his most famous piece worn by Grammy nominated singer/songwriter/rapper/actor Janelle Monae at the 2019 Grammy Awards , Steve has also had several art gallery exhibitions of these headpieces as well.
Steve opened Comme des Salons 16 yrs ago as a place for people who are looking for a great haircut without the drama of traditional salons. Comme des Salons is an exclusive by appointment only salon that is the equivalent of going to a bespoke tailor to get a custom made suit and Steve is a master craftsman with an extremely fashion editorial eye that ensures a great look for both women & men using his artisanal dry cutting techniques.
